. In some cases, funds may not be available for withdrawal until the fifth business day after the day of deposit, depending on the type of check that is deposited. However, the first $100 of the deposit will always
be available on the first business day after the day of the transaction.
Funds from the following types of checks will likely be placed on hold:
Local Checks – If the account balance does not exceed the amount of the check
Unfamiliar Business or Payroll Checks
Counter or Starter Checks

NOTE: Longer check holds may apply when you visit a Service Center. If you will need the funds from a deposit right away, or have any questions regarding your account, you should contact any Coosa Pines FCU branch to speak with a Member Service Representative regarding your transaction. Please remember that employees at Service Center locations are not able to release a Coosa Pines FCU deposit hold or to answer questions regarding your account that are not specifically related to your transaction or current balance(s).
